Mechanical Issues Sideline Tyler Stevens at Boothill

Tyler entered a $3,000-to-win Crate Late Model event at Louisiana’s Boothill Speedway on Saturday evening. With 33 entries on hand, Tyler started eighth in his heat race before advancing to a fifth-place finish.

Via passing points Stevens fell just short of locking into the feature and was forced to run a B-Main, which he won. Starting 18th on the feature gird, he had worked his way up to the eighth position by the halfway mark before a broken power steering line and no rear breaks forced Stevens to retire to a 20th-place finish.
