2 Nights of Comp Cams Super Late Model Racing Headline The 50th Annual Original LA Dirt Track State Championships Sept 23rd and 24th

GREENWOOD, LA – The 50th Annual Original LA Dirt Track State Championships will be September 23rd and 24th featuring the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series Super Late Models. The weekend will see the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series competitors competing in 2 complete shows with each night’s feature winner receiving $6,000 To-Win.

“After receiving feedback from Comp Cams series drivers and officials, we decided to split the weekend up into 2 individual race programs instead of the original plan of heat races on Friday and the main event on Saturday. The drivers are still chasing a possible $12,000 To-Win, but it gives them two chances of having a good night at the pay window. The drivers and teams prefer this plan overwhelmingly and it also allows the Comp Series to make up a night of racing that they have lost this year due to event rain outs. They put on a terrific show every spring during the Ronny Adams Memorial in this format and it gives our fans 2 full nights of Super Late Model racing as well. The fans are always asking for more Super Late Model racing." – Brian Frazier, Boothill Speedway’s Promoter.

Joining the Super Late Models in chasing a 50th Annual Original LA Dirt Track State Championship will be all 6 of the Advanced Powder Coating Weekly Racing Series classes. The Frazier Accounting Crate Late Models, Granger Equipment Factory Stocks, and LED 4 Life Limited Modifieds will all be chasing $1,000 To-Win. The Pro Mods will be chasing $600 To-Win, FWDs $300 To-Win, and the Sportsters will be chasing $200 To-Win.
